Putting Distance Studios has rolled out Replace 5.01 for The Callisto Protocol, which provides a brand new Dismemberment Mode and eventually permits gamers to skip cutscenes.
In the event you’re making an attempt to unlock all The Callisto Protocol achievements, you may understand how large of a deal this replace is. Replace 5.01 brings with it a gory new Dismemberment Mode and a function that can lower down the general time wanted for a completion: skippable cutscenes.
The Callisto Protocol provides Dismemberment Mode and skippable cutscenes in new replace
If you’re unaware of why this is such a big deal, The Callisto Protocol requires you to play through the entire game multiple times (we think it’s a minimum of four, let us know down in the comments if you know exactly how many playthroughs you need) to unlock all of its achievements, and with that, you’d need to watch the same cutscenes over and over. Now with Update 5.01, you’ll never have to watch a Callisto Protocol cutscene again! The new quality-of-life feature — which definitely should have been in the game when it launched four months ago — will approximately shave off over an hour of time, if not more, per playthrough.
Elsewhere, Update 5.01 adds a new Dismemberment Mode where you can “tear your enemies apart limb by limb and feel the excitement of seeing instant dismemberment as you fight your way through Black Iron Prison.” It appears that no new achievements were added with this mode.
Striking Distance has also confirmed that players will not be able to unlock achievements while playing in Dismemberment Mode, so you will want to leave that turned off if you’re going back for another playthrough.
Will you be returning to Black Iron Prison for another playthrough without cutscenes? Let us know down in the comments!
