assist me with this idea i considered

i’ve a xbox controller with the three.5mm jack and the smaller hdmi port just like the one within the image.

the three.5mm jack doesn’t work so i cant use a headset by means of it, although i questioned if i exploit the unique xbox adapter for headsets, may it repair my downside ?

or ought to i simply substitute the three.5mm jack :p
