Sony ‘Welcomes’ UK’s Resolution to Examine Microsoft Activision Deal

Sony has launched a press release that it “welcomes the announcement” of a further probe into the Microsoft Activision deal by the UK’s Competitors and Markets Authority (CMA). The regulatory physique stated earlier this month that the merger may “considerably weaken” the competitors inside the market, a place that Sony agrees with. In response to this, Microsoft has countered these remarks by saying that “It makes zero enterprise sense for Microsoft to take away Name of Responsibility from PlayStation given its market-leading console positions.”
